A full month jam-packed with healthy meals, exercise, and lots of educational knowledge.
This will give even more time to create healthy habits & practices, and give you an abundance of educational knowledge to help you succeed.
Both Programs Include:
1) Grocery Shop and Food Delivery- I will shop for you 1 day per week- Mon-Fri (you pay for the groceries, I pay for my gas)
-
You may put ALL of your grocery needs on the list (not to exceed a two hour shopping period).
-
As part of the educational process, you must accompany me at least ONE time, but you may come as many times as you like.
-
As part of the educational process: each week I will explain why I purchased each item- either when we shop, or when I deliver them, or when we cook together.
-
We will discuss your preferred food budget and I can offer budget saving ideas.

2) Exercise- I will bike or walk with you 3 times per week. (45 mins to 1 hour each time).
-
We will go on well-established local walking/biking trails.
-
You can set the pace, but if you go at an unusually slow pace, I may gently nudge you to up it a bit, unless there is a medical reason why you may not, or if age is a factor.

3) Cooking (dinner)- Mon-Fri, 5 nights a week for the first week, and 3 days a week (Monday, Wed, & Friday all subsequent weeks/months.
-
I can do the bulk of the cooking if you like, but in order to learn, you'll need to be present. Remember, this is a program designed to give you healthy eating habits/skills for life, so you'll want to learn how to do that. But during the program you may be hands-on in the actual cooking as much or as little as you like.
-
We will cook at your place, but I will bring some of my trusty cooking tools, just in case I need them and you don't carry them. I will also clean up after myself.
-
*Please note: if you are not prepared to eat a copious amount of vegetables and some fruit, this program will probably not work for you.

4) I will research and supply ongoing educational materials for your specific needs and requests, such as: menu ideas for breakfast, lunch and dinner, deciphering food labels and other education, charts I have created, notes I have written with you in mind, and etc. I'll get these to you through email or in person.
-
I am open to learning from you and your experiences as well, and I encourage mutual discussions and motivations! I'm happy to admit that I don't know everything.

5) Breakfast and Lunch demos-
-
Not sure you know how to make some of the breakfast and lunch suggestions? Just ask me to show you how! I'll carve out a little time for that each week if you like. But I promise you, most of the stuff I will show/suggest is not difficult at all. And I'd love to see you try some of your own creativity with them as well!

6) Food Pantry Purge- At the beginning of each program we will spend 1-2 hours together in your cupboards and food pantry. I will tell you what to throw away and what to keep. (Whether you throw it away or not is your business, but keep in mind this will affect your overall results). I will explain why seemingly "healthy foods" are not so healthy after all, and point out the main items that you will need, or want to keep, in your pantry. You're serious about this healthy eating thing, right?

7) Pubic Interview- We will meet in a public place as a preliminary interview to decide if we are mutually comfortable working with one another. I will bring a document similar to the one you are reading now that we will both sign and you will also be prepared to pay 1/2 of the allotted amount upfront, and the other half two weeks into whatever program you've chosen. After the two week mark, we each have the option of opting out of the program. If you decide to opt out of the program after two weeks, you do not need to pay the remainder (second half) of the cost.
A Breakdown of my Hours for Monthly Programs

Grocery Shopping- 1-2 hours per week (4-8 hours per month)
Walking/Biking - 3 hours per week, including travel time to location (12 hours per month)
