For every cooking class, I provide in-depth nutritional information as we go and supply detailed hand-outs to take home. Expect engaging interaction and discussion. Each guest is encouraged to participate in the cooking, but it is not required.

We will cook in your home or facility. You may book classes in your home or your larger facility. I will supply cutting boards and knives. Yes, there will be a lot of chopping! We will cook in your kitchen so only invite as many people as you know you have room for, where every guest can see everything and will have room to participate. For larger facilities (community centers etc.), I have a limit of 20 people per class.
My healthy cooking classes include copious amounts of vegetables as well as some fruit. If you don't like vegetables then these classes may not be for you. If you, or some of your guests, prefer not to eat fruits, let me know. We can eliminate that. Or you can choose lower-fructose fruits such as berries.

I cook "clean" meals. This means consuming foods that are as close as possible to their natural state. (Or as I like to say, "Just like God created them!") This usually means making our meals from scratch to make them as clean as possible. Also, I only cook with grass-fed meats, wild-caught fish, and organic (no added hormones, no antibiotics) fowl such as chicken or turkey. If you are a vegetarian and still choose to use my services, we will eliminate any meat in your particular meal.

I don't cook with gluten, or refined sugars, and I only rarely use limited types of dairy. I substitute with non-wheat flours, nut & other alternative milks, raw honey, pure maple syrup etc.

I will do the shopping for your meal or samplers. If you want to supply wine to your guests, then you will purchase the wine! Thank you!

I will bring all cooking supplies (pots, pans, cooking utensils etc.), but not dining supplies for your in-home classes. On occasion, I may ask if you can supply a few items from your kitchen. Dining supplies that I may not supply include serving bowls and serving spoons, plates, glasses, dishes, silverware, etc. (You set your own dining room table).

Each class can take anywhere from 1-2 hours, and you can be sitting down for most of it if you like. For in-home meals: after we have cooked the Meal or Samplers (to be determined between myself and the host(ess)), I will clean up the mess and you and your guests may enjoy your meal together! I will leave once I have finished cleaning the cooking area (or an agreed upon time).
